Dra Tania G.Abreu is an Anesthetist with special interest in paediatrics at Quiron Hospital in Valencia city. She owns two Masters at Salamanca University in pain and specific techniques for pain using ultrasound. Recently she attended a clinical attachment at the Unit of Chronic pain at Boston Children Hospital along a month ( one of the better considered hospital at the States).She also participated at the different workshops developed by psychologist for children and parents and attend the migraine clinic and the different multidisciplinary clinics to improve children pains.

She is secretary of the extrahospitalary Paediatric Pain Study group.Recently she has written and actualized the national guidelines of acute pain that would be published within the next months.She is deeply involve in the Comfort promise proyect in Spain to reduce pain in children having any procedure that required using needles.

She keeps on studying, actively participating ant the social net pain List, giving conferences, helping Hospital La Zarzuela Madrid as consultor of pediatric pain.She has a son 14 years old.
